Passion for Promarkers #45 - 2 Images

I had to give this challenge quite a bit of thought this week - using 2 images on a card isn't as easy as I first thought. So for this week's DT card for Passion for Promarkers I decided to keep it simple and went with my timeless Gorjuss Girls.

This week you could win a 5-pack of Promarkers from

And just a wee note to let you know that I won't be commenting this week as we're away on a wee break.
This post has been scheduled.
And remember - for another chance to win some digi stamps, pop over to the Digi Friday Weekend Workshop and see Gina's fabulous tutorial.

Sugar Nellie Spotlight

oooooooooooo ooooooooo oooooooooooooo
I'm so honoured to be in the Sugar Nellie Spotlight this week - as you all probably know by now, I'm a huge SN fan.

So pop over and have a nosey, there's also some candy to enter too.

Passion for Promarkers #44 - Springtime + animal

Finally Spring seems to be making an appearance - not before time! The snowdrops and crocuses are all out in the garden, and the other spring bulbs are all starting to ease themselves out of the ground too.
So Denise has chosen Springtime as the theme this week at Passion for Promarkers and she has an added extra - you have to include an animal and of course you can use any colours of promarkers.

Just for a wee change I thought I'd make a boys card - I'll be giving this one to my wee boys for Easter.

We also have a fabulous prize from Angel Crafts - £10 to spend in Angela's online store.

Image: Pets Corner from Sugar Nellie, coloured with promarkers: Pale Pink & Blush for the skin, Caramel, Cocoa and Walnut for his hair, Pastel Green & Mint Green, Lime Zest, Lime Green and grass for his clothes, Cool Grey 2 and 5 for the soles of his shoes and for the cat and dog.

The lime paper is Basic Grey Lemonade and the stripy paper is Making Memories Just Chillin Boy, yellow card stock is core'dinations and the white card candy is from Craftwork Cards

Digistamp Boutique - GDT

This week is going to be hectic, I'm a bit like a duck at the moment - I look all calm and serene, but under the water my legs are madly paddling away. We go on holiday on Friday and I wanted to get up to date with all my DT commitments before I go. We're taking the kids to Flamingoland again for a week, and we're hitting 2 birds with 1 stone as we've arranged the ESP Meet for the first Saturday there too. So I'm looking forward to meeting some new faces from Extra Special Parents, and also to seeing some old friends too.

So, moving on, here's a couple of cards I made for my Digistamp Boutique GDT spot. I treated myself to some new papers - you may have noticed over the last few days posts lol I bought the 2 new Basic Grey pads and some paper stacks from Wild Rose Studios which are just perfect for this time of year.

Some News

I'm being dragged round car showrooms this morning, and so you won't be as bored as I will be I thought I'd share some bits and bobs with you.

Firstly, do you fancy getting your hands on some free digi stamps? then pop over to the Digi Friday Weekend Workshop at PfP where you'll find a fab image colouring tutorial from my boss Denise and if you leave a comment on the tut, you'll be entered into the draw to win some digi images from Doodle Palace.

My other bit of news is... one of my monochrome tutorials is being featured on the Sugar Nellie blog today. I'm a huge SN fan, so am chuffed to bits.

So, have a good weekend folks - I have a few cards to share over the weekend, as soon as I get decent light to photograph them.

Passion for Promarkers #43 - Sketch

It's my turn to pick the theme for Passion for Promarkers this week, so I thought I'd choose something that I know is popular - a sketch. And you can also use ANY COLOURS. I have the very hard task this week of choosing 5 Promarker Passionistas from all the entries, so I can't wait to see all your creations again this week.
And you could win a 5-pack of promarkers, so what are you waiting for?

Have you also entered the Digi Friday giveaway over on the Weekend Workshop? Every week we publish a digital image tutorial and one of our digi stamp sponsors is offering a super prize for one lucky commenter. Last Friday was my turn to publish a tutorial, using the "Smelling the Cherry Blossoms" image from Fred She Said. This is the image I've used for my card.

Image: Smelling the Cherry Blossoms from Fred She Said, coloured with promarkers (see tutorial for list of colours used)
Papers are all from the new BG Kioshi collection, cardstock is core'dinations, broderie anglais trim from stash and I did the greeting on the computer.

Digi Friday at PfP

Yay it's the weekend!! although I don't know what I'm yaying about - the kids will just drive me nuts for the next 2 days lol.

But it's the weekend, and that means there's a new tutorial up on the PfP Weekend Workshop. And of course its week 3 of our Digi Friday's.
If you don't know what that means, then I better explain... Every Friday, one of the Passion for Promarkers DT uses a digital stamp from on of our sponsors and publishes a tutorial. And the best bit, you could win a prize from that sponsor.
And the even better bit is that all you have to do is leave a comment on the tutorial - yup, it's that easy.
This week, our sponsor is Fred, She Said , who have the most gorgeous digi goodies. It was my turn to do the tutorial and I chose "Smelling the Cherry Blossoms" because the wee girl's kimono reminded me of "Memoirs of a Geisha", a book I just loved reading.
Here's a sneaky peek ...

So, hop on over to the PfP Weekend Workshops to see the full tutorial and remember to leave a comment to be in with a chance of winning $15 of digi goodies from Fred, She Said

Passion for Promarkers #42 - Mango & Bright Green

It's Tuesday again, which means another new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers. This is our last colour combo for a wee while and it was chosen by our current GDT, Sarah W. So we want you to use the promarker colours: Mango and Bright Green.

Now, I know this is going to look and sound a bit bizarre (I'm an Aquarian, what do you expect?) but that colour combo just screamed "CARROTS" at me. Don't ask!! my brain seems to be wired up completely randomly lol

So, the prize this week for PfP #42 is a £10 voucher from Joanna Sheen

And before I show you my bizarro card, have you seen this week's fabulous double whammy tutorial on the PfP Weekend Workshop? If you haven't then you're missing the chance to win some digistamps from Bee Crafty, so hurry over and have a nosey.
