Hi there and happy SOS.
Back again with a wee post about what I've been pinning this week on Pinterest. For those who have no idea what I'm waffling about - Pinterest is the coolest place to find inspiration for just about anything - from cupcakes to weddings, decorating to travel. And as you can imagine, it's also responsible for gobbling up time lol
Anyway, Karen at Sugar Nellie wants us to share on Sunday what we've been pinning during the week - it's a great way to see what everyone else is looking at/interested in/inspired by.
So, what have I been noseying at this week?
Well I've been doing a bit of house-keeping with my boards, my "crafty inspiration" board was getting quite big, there was so much inspiration, so I've decided to be more specific and split it onto categories - so the first new board I've created is "craft - butterflies", I love butterflies and have a decent wee collection of butterfly stamps, punches and dies. A couple of tags have caught my eye lately....

And, because it is now expected of me... here's today's hottie from my "Hotties" board......
Here's Paul Walker...

Have a great Sunday, and remember to pop over to Sugar Nellie to join in and see the other SOS'ers :)

Huge thank you to everyone who entered my 150k hits candy, and I see I have a few new followers too - not very far away from 1000 followers now, so I may well have some more candy on offer soon :)
Yesterday, I was demonstrating promarkers and flexmarkers with a variety of stamps including floral stamps from Woodware and Imagination Crafts. Just want to say thank you to everyone who came to sit and watch. I'm so lucky to have such a fab job, and I'm always amazed by the age range of crafters - you're never too young or too old to colour in :)
Anyway, getting back to my candy....

The winner, as chosen by random.org is number 46 Debbie Johns. congratulations Debbie, please email me with your address before noon on Wednesday 2nd May.

If you didn't win this time, don't worry, I'll be giving away some more candy soon, to celebrate something I can't tell you about just yet. And if you keep an eye on The Papeterie blog, there'll be some candy up for grabs there soon too :)

Sneaky Peeks for Saturday

Just a quick wee post to let you know what I've been busy with this week and what's happening this weekend.
I'm really excited to be demo-ing alongside the incredibly talented Erika Gunter on Saturday at The Papeterie. Erika will be there all day, demoing some fab distress techniques as well as fab ways to use the new Spellbinders dies and embossing folders. And I'll be there from 10am - 1pm demonstrating promarkers and flexmarkers with some beautiful floral stamps from Woodware and Imagination Crafts....
And here's a sneaky peek of one of the samples...
And if you fancy learning more about Letraset's new Flexmarkers then I'll be teaching a class from 1.30 - 3.30pm.
I also have a few exciting things in the pipeline, I can't tell you any more than that at the moment, but watch this space :)
Remember to enter my candy before it finishes tomorrow.

Belated SOS

This is a bit of a belated SOS (Share on Sunday) post. I was up to my eyeballs with this assessment, so couldn't think about it yesterday. But now that I've finished it, I thought I'd catch up with the SOS girls.
So what have I been pinning on Pinterest this week? well.....not very much at all to be honest, blame this assignment!
So I'm just going to have to leave you with another hottie - because I know you've all come to expect it now lol
I've had a "thing" for David Boreanaz since his Buffy days, and now that Bones is back on the box I get to drool over him once more.
And if you want to see more of my half-naked hotties, pop on over to my MMMMMM Board ;)

Morning folks, I'll be back in the next day or so with some candy as I mentioned on Friday. But in the meantime I'm joining in with Share on Sunday over at Karen's blog.
So what have I been pinning on Pinterest this week?
Well, I've been warned to KIC (keep it clean) by she who must be obeyed after last week because I think I gave some ladies a hot flush with those fantastic pics of Alcide from True Blood. Click here to see the post if you think you can handle it :)
So this week I've been pinning pics of Monster High dolls - both my girls love the MH dolls, and I have to say, despite not being a girly doll kinda girl myself I think they are gorgeous. So well designed and very original. Here's my MH board over on Pinterest.
Source
Meet Frankie Stein, daughter of Frankenstein and she's the new girl at MH
and here's one we don't have in our collection yet...
And my personal favourite
This is Abbey Bominable - the daughter of the Yeti!!
Off to have a nosey at what everyone else is Sharing.

Ellon Craft Group

I need to apologise to everyone who visits my blog regularly - I'm going to be quiet for the next couple of weeks - I need to concentrate on my end-of-module assignment for Uni, so there's not going to be much crafting getting done to share with you. So to make up for it, I'll be bringing you some blog candy - it's also to celebrate hitting 150k hits :) More news about that later.

But before I disappear into my books I thought I'd share some pics from Tuesday night with the Ellon Craft Group... here are the ladies concentrating hard on their colouring...

And here's what we made...
A cute little caddy for bath miniatures...
Image: Bathtime - Sarah Kay by Stampavie, coloured with promarkers: Burnt Orange, Sunkissed Pink, Coral, Blush, Walnut, Cinnamon, Tan and Almond.
The caddy is a Sizzix ScoreBoards XL Die - Bag, Caddy. papers are papermania capsule collection and core'dinations card, seam-binding from Angel Crafts.

The other project we did was a CAS tag ...
Image: CL449 Delicate Blossoms from Hero Arts coloured with promarkers: Burgundy, Crimson, Poppy, Lipstick Red, Holly, Olive Green.
The tag was made with Sizzix Movers & Shapers L Die - Tag & Bookplates

Just a wee heads up - if any of you were planning to go to the Artstamps Scotland show in Edinburgh on the 25th/26th May - it's postponed, details on their FB page.

PaperArtsy Extravaganza

Hi there, sorry I've been on the missing list over the last couple of days - been recovering from the GJWTHF at the weekend, then prepping for my class at the Ellon Craft Group - I'll be posting about that tomorrow.
I wanted to let you know about something very exciting that's happening this weekend. My very talented GJWTHF buddy Kath is hosting a bit of a Paper Artsy Extravaganza at The Papeterie this Saturday. Now I've seen a wee sneaky peek of what's going to be going on, and wow are you in for a treat. I managed to steal that wee sneaky peek to let you have a look - so don't say I'm not good to you all ;)
I just love the Paper Artsy stamps, dies and paints - and Kath really knows how to show you how to use them to their best advantage. So pop along this Saturday morning for her free make 'n' take session. Yup, that's right, you get a chance to play with all those gorgeous goodies for free.
Then for a fantastic project (see the pic above) with step-by-step instruction from our very own local celebrity crafter you can join in with this fantabulous class by calling 01224 802337 to reserve your place - don't delay, places are limited.
For more info on this or any other demos and classes at The Papeterie, pop over to their blog. And to see more of Kath's fabulous style, pop over to see her and Buddy here.

Easter Shenanigans

Are you all full of chocolate yet? Is it possible to have too much chocolate? lol
Well my kids now have loads of chocolate, and had an absolute ball yesterday at The Papeterie's Easter Funday Sunday. There were loads of crafty things for the kids to do - painting hard-boiled eggs, making easter cards, making easter baskets for the easter egg hunt, decorating and making fabric lizard keyrings. And not forgetting the big easter egg hunt along with the easter bunny himself.
Here's Faithy concentrating hard on colouring inside the lines...
 And the finished article....
Willow colouring her card in - she decided to give hers to Charlotte and the girls at The Papeterie.
Graham helping Faith put together her easter basket - you can never have too many feathers or sticker you know!
 Willow painting her egg...
bet you've never seen an egg with a feather in it's hair!....
Faithy with her face painted as an easter bunny...

Evening folks,
it's the end of another busy day - hope you've all had a lovely Easter and not made yourself sick with all that chocolate. Graham and I took the girls over to The Papeterie for the kids Easter Funday Sunday - Faithy kept cuddling the poor Easter Bunny lol - Will post some pics tomorrow.
Today I wanted to join in with Karen's Share on Sunday thing. You'll find all the details here, on the Sugar Nellie blog

Pinterest is hugely addictive, and I've lost whole evenings by searching and pinning things that I like. Most of what I'm looking at on there is craft/work related - whether it's looking for xmas card inspiration, or ideas for teachers gifts. But I do have a guilty little secret and it's my "mmmmmmmmm board" - and my favourite pin on there has to be of Alcide from True Blood....
Why not pop over to the Sugar Nellie FB page to join in the fun this week.

Last Minute Details

Well, I think we'll all set for tomorrow's GJWTHF at The Papeterie - I'll try to tweet some pics during the day, you can follow me on twitter by clicking on the button near the top of my sidebar. Can't wait to see some familiar faces and some new ones :)
The kitting isn't all done and dusted yet though - I'm away to make a start on kitting for the projects we'll be doing at the craft group in Ellon on Tuesday night.I have a cunning plan, but I need to do a mock up to see if it's going to work - which reminds me, I better go get the supplies out of the boot lol.

I managed to get a commission card done this week too - a friend of mine wanted a "girly card for a 21st birthday", so this is what I came up with. I followed a similar design that I did a wee while back featuring a Saturated Canary image.
Image: Soho from KennyKDownloads, coloured with flexmarkers. I used Scallop Circle Grand nesties to cut the card base and the layers of white and pink card (all from The Papeterie) I used the paisley M-Bossibilities folder to emboss the white panel. Pink bling is from Kaisercraft, butterflies were punched with an EK Success layering punch.

I'd like to enter her into....
Moving Along With The Times - Va Va Voom
Paper Play Challenges - Shaped Card

Kitting Complete

Ermmmm, what's with all this snow? I got up yesterday morning, and did my usual..... switched on my laptop, switched on the kettle and opened the blinds to a pretty dismal looking over cast kind of day. Then once the laptop warmed up and I logged into Facebook I was met with some winter wonderland photos from Kath and my wee brother. Now, my wee brother and my parents live about 30 miles west of Aberdeen, so it's not unusual for them to get snow, but a foot overnight?? Boy was I glad that I haven't yet got around to getting the winter tyres changed off our car, because I had to do a mercy dash to Kath's with an essential ingredient for the Kath Kitting Machine, so that she could finish kitting up for the Aberdeen GJWTHF event - do you know that there's only 3 more sleeps to go.
Speaking of which, I have some sneaky peeks for you....

And here's all the kits for GJWTHF Aberdeen, done and dusted :)

It's All Go

Life is just a bit of a blur at the moment, and this week looks like it's going to be just the same. I was demo-ing at The Papeterie yesterday again - thankyou to everyone who came to see me, especially Steve, who I haven't seen for 23 years. OMG is it really that long since I left school?? wow I feel old now.
And it was a great honour to see the fabulously talented Andy Skinner - he has the most amazing techniques and effects. Hope to see you again next time you're up Andy.
I've had a bit of a lazy day today, because I know I'm going to be flat out this week. I need to do a bit of Uni work, all the kitting for my project for GJWTHF this saturday, I also need to fit in a mercy dash to the cubbyhole to stock Kath up on a vital ingredient for her GJWTHF kitting (I could tell you what that ingredient is, but I'd have to kill you lol), an optitian appointment, a visit to the oldies and keep the kids entertained - should be an interesting week.
So this week I'm going to try and share some more GJWTHF sneaky peeks with you. Can't believe it's less than a week to go - we're so excited as the projects we're doing this time are the best yet.
We still have a few places left if you fancy joining us - just email me to reserve your place, we won't be able to guarantee your place if you just turn up on the day.
I'm going to leave you with another Bella card - I'm really loving these Bella stamps from Wild Rose Studio.
Image: Bella with Balloons coloured with promarkers, papers are all also from Wild Rose Studio.
all stamps, ink, promarkers, papers and cardstock available at The Papeterie

I'd like to enter her into:
