For my dad

I forgot to show you this Fathers Day card that I made for my dad at the time, so I thought I'd schedule it for today.

We should be in Annan by the time you read this and later today we'll be travelling to Yorkshire. We're having a wee break with the kids at Flamingo Land. Last night we were going to be staying with the out-laws (Graham's parents) so we'll have caught up with them, Graham's niece Claire and her partner Nibs and their kiddies Hope and Lexie. This will be the first time we've met Lexie and she's just over a year old. We might even have seen Graham's brother Lindsay and his wife Linda - yes that gets very confusing lol. We were last down to visit at Easter 2008, so we'll really see a difference in wee Hope. She was born 6 weeks before Willow and despite both being Brockies they are completely different.

I'm hoping that I'll still manage to blog a wee bit every day as Graham has bought a dongle-thingy (thats the technical term lol) and we'll be taking one of the laptops with us. I have scheduled a few posts for the week though, including this week's  Weekend Workshop tomorrow  and my DT card for Passion for Promarkers on Tuesday. I just hope Mr Blogger behaves lol

So, as I was saying, this is the card for my dad for Father's Day last week, I've given you 2 views so you can see that the front is cut down a bit and the image is positioned across the gap.

Image: Jim Fishing from Digistamp Boutique, coloured with promarkers; blush for skin, warm grey 2  and 3 for hair, blue pearl and china blue for cap and jeans, moss green and olive for t-shirt, forest green and holly for boots, grass for the grass, cinnamon and cocoa for the rod, pastel blue and cool aqua for the water (the water  was then covered with glossy accents)
green card for  mat is core'dinations, paper on left is Basic grey Two Scoops and the one on the right is K&Co Classic k Bailey, flower is flora doodles, brads are papermania and greeting is Daisy & Dandelion.
Here's Jim's spotlight... have angled him so you can see the glossy accents
