ARGH!

where oh where does the time go? that's another week gone since I last posted and it's just passed in a blur - last week of term for the kids is always so busy, I finally finished the teachers presents - I ended up making 16 tea light gift boxes, and if I never see one of those again it will be too soon lol
I used a selection of Simply Sassy, Gorjuss and The Greetings Farm images, all coloured with promarkers, a Hero Arts greeting, Tim Holtz pins, various cuttlebug embossing folders and loads of white card from The Papeterie.

I've made a start on buying school uniforms for after the summer, Faith starts school this year and I admit to having a very emotional moment when I got her to try on her new school clothes this week, I can't believe my wee baby will be starting out at school - feels like 5 minutes since she was born, not 5 years!
She's been learning to ride Willow's bike, even though it's too big for her ...

Here's a wee catch-up of things that might be of interest to you crafty folks .....
Tomorrow and Saturday, Sugar Nellie are releasing loads of new images at their Carnival of Colour blog hop , click on the pic

The lovely Jenny from Craft Test Dummies recently had a wee visit to London, so pop over and have a look at all her reviews and news in her "UK Week". Today she's reviewed Letraset Aquamarkers.

Remember at the end of May, Kath, Anne and I had our Girls Just Want to Have Fun day? well there just might be some exciting news about another day coming soon - keep your eyes peeled for more details soon.
Talking of Kath - its the blonde bombshell - aka Buddy's 5th birthday today - so pop on over to wish the golden boy some birthday love

Have had a bit of a juggle round with my class and demo dates - so please check out the class list here. If you fancy coming along to join me then you'll find all the contact info on that page.
Think that's about it for now - not sure how much crafting I'm gonna get done with the kids at home all the time from Friday, so the blog might be a bit dry over the summer.

Your gifts are adorable. Love how you worked with all the white, guess it was a little practical too. ;) I had that marathon a couple of weeks ago, wanted it all finished in time. Got a couple of late nights working all out. :)
Take care!
Love n hugs

These are just brilliant - no wonder the time has disappeared for you.Your little pink girl looks like she is absolutely engrossed. Thanks for link about the AquaMarkers - my husband is giving me the whole set for my birthday (but I have to wait until August). Funnily my ProMarker CD storage case arrived today & he asked if that was a birthday present too -NOOOOOOOOOOOO, I need that now so that's had to take priority over the saving for a Big Shot.
Take care with all the busyness.

Great presents Debbi and I can see why you never want to see another tealight box again.

Faith looks as if she's trying very hard there. Hope the weather's decent so she gets lots of time to practise. As well as let all three out to play.

Kat xx

Wow Debz , love these teachers gifts . And Faithy's pic --- she's gorgeous , an absolute sweetie -- and so is Willow -- sending them both hugs and a high five to Scott, (didn't think he'd appreciate a hug at his age !!!!!!! but sending one if he wants)
Hope to catch up soon

your cards are really beautiful-- the images pop so nicely off the white!...

and i know what you mean with getting upset about school! philly goes this year, and i'm afraid i'm gonna cry like a baby that morning. i already get a knot in my throat just thinking about him leaving me for the day:(

PS--i think the hair you mentioned to me sounds sooooo perfect! (want to see you with it:)...

have a great day!! xoxo

Hi Debbi, the gifts are lovely, I really like the effect of brightly coloured images on white embossed card, simple but effective. I still remember my children's first days at school even though it was getting on for about 35 years ago - they both looked far too little to be leaving their mum! And they both looked adorable in their blazers - pity it was the only day my daughter ever looked smart - full uniform was not for her!!! Have a great weekend. Elizabeth x
