Wound Down

I still feel exhausted after the weekend, got some bad family news on Sunday which has had me on a bit of a downer too, but hey - life goes on and I'm not one for self-pity, I'm a glass-is-half-full kinda girl so no point on dwelling on the things I can do nothing about, onward and upward and all that.

Faith had her Barnardos sponsored toddle today so was chuffed to bits to come home with her medal and certificate. And the caterpillars had made their wee cocoon homes so we've moved them into the mesh butterfly home so they can break out of their shells safely, and Faith can't resist a photo opportunity lol

Pepsi went away to the groomer on Monday afternoon, and I asked them to clip her this time - although in hindsight I might ask them to leave the feathers next time, cos I don't think she looks like a cavalier anymore :S

Had to pop over to The Papeterie today to drop something off, so had a quick chat with Pearl and Charlotte and Jean and a wee splurge, thought I'd treat myself to a couple of bits and pieces.
Think I'll have an early night tonight, I can feel a head cold coming on so I'll dope myself up to the eyeballs with a hot toddy.

Oh, she looks so adorable! Such big eyes:)...Love that pic:)...Hope you stay healthy. Why do people get colds in the warmer months?? It doesn't seem fair!! Hope you avoid it somehow!:)

Have a great week-- and get some rest!:)

Sorry to hear about your family news & I'm not surprised you are still exhausted - a lot of prep & hard work beforehand. Pepsi looks a bit bemused & no, she doesn't quite look like a Cavalier........ Well done to Faith too.
Take care of yourself & I do hope that doesn't turn into a nasty cold.

I'm not surprised you feel shattered Debbi. After all the work you had before Saturday and all you did on Saturday no wonder you're tired! Sorry to hear you've had bad news too.

Love your pics of Faith and Pepsi. Faith always takes a good photo. Think Pepsi maybe looks a wee bit unimpressed!

Take care,

Kat xx
