1000th post and a winner

Argh, it's taking me longer than planned to get back into the swing of blogging. I have loads of work commitments at the moment, and it's not leaving me a lot of time to do things I can show on the blog. But enough of that, I have lots of news to share....
I thought you'd like to hear about some upcoming events at The Papeterie
Firstly, the very special, and very first Craft Retreat will be going ahead between Friday 21st and Sunday 23rd September - not long now. We're really excited about this: Kath, Erika and myself have some fab workshops lined up. If you're interested in joining us I think Charlotte just might be able to squeeze one or two more people in - there are workshop packages available with and without accommodation.
Next I'll be teaming up with Kath and Charlotte to bring you our Christmas Papercraft Extravaganza - on Sunday 7th October. Make 3 papercraft projects during this fun day with the 3 of us - buffet lunch included. There are still places available - look out for sneak peeks coming soon here, and on Kath's and The Papeterie's blogs.
On Saturday 20th October I'll be demonstrating Christmas Spellbinders dies and embossing folders, and teaching a Christmas Spellbinders class in the afternoon from 1.30pm - 3.30pm.
Then on Sunday 21st October I have an intermediate Promarker/Flexmarker class from 1-3pm - this class is for people who have previously attended one of my beginner/basics promarker classes.
To book any of the classes at the Papeterie, please call 01224 802337

I have more exciting news for you.... Letraset have released 20 new colours to the Aquamarker range (there were previously 40 including the blender) Lookout for a wee tutorial from me on the Letraset blog tomorrow.
Now you all know how I like my colour charts, so I made this one up to include all 60 aquamarkers. There is plenty of space to fill in the colours, I've made the spaces extra large because I coloured directly onto the colour chart with each colour, then used an acrylic block and a water brush to colour the other half of the space. And of course I printed the chart onto water colour paper for a true representation of the colours. A wee note of warning though - inkjet ink tends to be water based, so make sure you don't touch the lines or colour names with the water brush :)You can get the download link for the blank chart here.

Before I go, I'd better pick a winner for the Limited Edition 2012 Autumn promarker pack...... Mr Random.org selected number 11 which is Linda Simpson, congratulations Linda, please email me before noon on Friday and I'll get your prize out to you as soon as I can.   Winner will be redrawn

Don't forget to pop back tomorrow for another giveaway - it's gonna be a big one :)

Forgot to say congrats on your 1000th post. I thought I had reached a milestone when I published my 100th post a while back, but it'll be a while before I reach 1000!

Thanks for the chart - I can't colour without a chart so this will be invaluable. Take care midst all the busyness too.
