Sugar Bowl #65 - entry 2

Hmmmmm, looks like this might be becoming a bit of a habit, entering the Sugar Bowl more than once per challenge. :) Not sure if could have something to do with a) the fantastic sketches (you know how I love a sketch) or b) the enormous range of Sugar Nellie stamps there is to play with.

Before I get onto my card, it's first day back at school today - Willow was up just after me at 7am this morning, all raring to go. So here's Scott and Willow all dressed and ready to go - Scott started his last year of primary school, and the P7's get to wear black sweatshirts.
Faith starts Primary 1 this afternoon, so I won't have pics of her to share until tomorrow. I've got mixed emotions about her going to school, on the one hand I will be out with the flags because it'll be the first time in 12 years I haven't had at least 1 child at home with me, but on the other hand - this is the last of my babies all grown up, so I think there just might be a tear or two this afternoon when we take her to school this afternoon.
Righto, back to my card...
Image: Strike A Pose from Sugar Nellie, coloured with promarkers and flexmarkers
white card from The Papeterie, cuttlebug EFs, MS border punch, ricrac from stash, Fiskars flower punch, clear bling coloured with promarkers, core'dinations card
here's her close-up...
I'd like to enter her into:
Sugar Bowl - sketch and blue
The Shabby Tearoom - polka dots
Pile It On - 3 shades of blue
Scrappy Frogs - bling
Challenge Up your Life - no patterned papers
Just Some Lines - embossing

What a lovely card Debbie. I love how you colour the hair on these girls. I'll have to get one and practice what you showed us. What a smart pair your two are. It's funny how milestones come and go. Last year was the first time in nineteen years I had no one returning to school. That was a strange feeling. Hope Faith enjoyed her afternoon.

Oh I meant to say, I half know how you're feeling hun. My youngest is due to start nursery in a few weeks, I know it isn't full time school. But you know, it's a very strange feeling know my house will be empty for the mornings through the week. And it's the first step towards those dreaded full days. Good luck!xx

Awww your wee ones look so lovely in their wee uniforms. Im sure you nearly wanted to turn back and march your youngest one straight back home again, they look so wee on their first day in P1. On the other hand you will have the mornings free to craft. Your card is really beautiful, I love that image. Really stunning. Lee xx

Gorgeous card Debz. Love her hair, it's just stunning.

Glad you didn't need too many hankies this afternoon for Faith going to school. Scott and Willow look sooo smart ready for school.

I am under instructions to have Craig's uniform out ready for him to go. He doesn't want to walk up the road with Scott and I. He's a P6 and clearly too grown up for his Mum and wee brother. Hey, hang on, I might need hankies now!!!
