CAS in red and white

It's been ages since I've done any crafting that hasn't been for work, so I really enjoyed making a card for a friend.
And this morning I got some really exciting news - I won a giveaway on the Tim Holtz blog, and to be honest I'm not sure if I'm more excited about my name being on his blog or about getting some of his fab new goodies hot off the press after CHA. So of course after I'd finished squealing like a little pig - thank goodness the kids were still in bed - I fired off an email to the lovely Mario. Mario must think I'm a bit of a headcase because he said "I can hear the excitement in your email" lol Now I just have to try and be patient and wait for my wee parcel to fly over the pond.

So here's my card...
Image: Little Red from Gorjuss Girls (PI) coloured with promarkers, greeting from LOTV
red and white card from The Papeterie, used 3 different embossing folders.

I'd like to enter her into:
Paper Pretties - texture
Pixie Cottage - red
Crafty Sentiments - lets get girly
Stamp n Doodle - red
Birthday Sundaes - birthday with sentiment

Thanks for visiting, I appreciate any comments

Howdy stranger! Hope you are keeping well hunny - sorry I am so remiss at visiting. Stunning card hun, love the GG in red, and so perfectly coloured. The white embossed panels really make the image sing. Got to ask though - do you emboss and then cut to size, or cut to size and emboss?? Congrats on your TH win, it's no wonder you are excited!! Oh brilliant I'm delighted that you've won something from Tim - you give so much that it's so so good to see you being given something. I love what you did with those embossing folders for your Gorjuss Girl & the deep red dimension you created with your colouring. Absolutely love the touches of chestnutty auburn in her hair too.
Wonder if you'll have some Distress Markers. I'm busy saving my bookshop earnings for those.
