I didn't feel the need to tweak the sketch at all, its perfect just the way it is, and I managed to use pearl beads as the additional challenge this time round - I've coloured them with Maroon promarkers, which worked out far better than I expected.
The image that I've used is one of the new Manga Kids from Sugar Nellie (which are back instock today) I bought a couple today, but the image I've used was sent to me by my boss at Passion for Promarkers - so thankyou Gina, hope I've done it justice xx I also chose what would sound like a strange colour combination - Cool Aqua and Maroon, but I think it works quite well, it shows off the Manga Girl quite well - what do you think?
Image: Manga Girl #2 from Sugar Nellie, coloured with Promarkers; Ivory & Blush for skin, Cool Aqua and Sky Blue for hair, tights and sleeves, Maroon for bow, top and boots, Ice Grey 3 for shading on tights. Sakura white med gel pen for highlights
Paper is CCSR - the big one, core'dinations blue gemstone card, black SU cardstock, ovals cut using oval and scallop oval nesties in the cuttlebug, flowers cut using EK Success retro flower punches and embossed, kanban paper lace ribbon coloured with black promarker, pearl beads coloured with maroon promarker and I hand-doodled the sentiment.
Here's the close-up...
