The best laid plans

well, things didn't go according to plan yesterday - I completely underestimated the effect sedation would have on me...

I went to hospital as planned, everything went quite well - although they had a bit of trouble getting the canula into my hand - the vein collapsed the first time. But I remember very little of the procedure itself, I remember being told to open my mouth twice and I remember the scraping noise of him removing part of a root - cos I remember him saying "aye its not a nice noise is it?" so I must have flinched. But the next thing I remember is being moved onto a bed and the nurse telling me the best thing I could do is have a sleep. The she woke me every 5 minutes to take my blood pressure lol

So Graham and the girls came to pick me up and I nearly burst into tears - dunno what it is, but anaesthetics always make me emotional.

Got home and went to bed, Graham cancelled my hair appt as he didn't think I was in any fit state to go anywhere. I got up after teatime and watched a bit of telly with Graham, then shoved some broccoli cheese in the oven for myself cos I was starving. I felt completely knackered after that so went back to bed - then had to get up again to throw up my entire supper.

I'm still feeling pretty wobbly today - don't want to risk driving cos I can't even walk properly lol. And I'm too scared to eat anything in case I throw it back up again.

Will be back soon with some pics from my nephew Kyles' birthday party on Sunday.
