The Sew Room - Kids Classes

I mentioned yesterday that we were going out to The Sew Room for one of Anne's kids classes and boy did we all have fun. All 3 kids are highly delighted with their Halloween Treat Buckets, here's some pics of the day - NB, I've only taken pics of my own kids at the class, as I don't have permission from the parents of the others.

Faith chuffed to bits with my attempt to sew on her buttons for her

The Sew Room - Grand Opening

I'm so excited to tell you about my good friend and fellow GJWTHF'er Anne is holding her Grand Opening of The Sew Room this Saturday.
You'll find all the details on the brand new The Sew Room blog. And boy are you all in for a treat..

Anne has just taken delivery of some of the latest on-trend fabrics and I can't wait to get my hands on some up-to-the-minute designs, just look at this scrummy fabric goodness...

So that's where I'll be on Saturday, will you be there too?

Next week Anne has the cutest workshop for kids - you'll find all the details on the Childrens Workshops page of The Sew Room Blog. The perfect way to keep the kids busy during the Tattie Holidays...

It's that Monday Feeling

Oh I'm so glad it was my turn for a lie-in this morning! When Graham's at home we take it in turns to get up with the kids so that we both get a chance to have a lie-in - well that's the theory, but it doesn't always work out that way. Graham got home on Thursday and with the way the days worked out and with GJWTHF this is the first lie-in I've had, and it was definitely worth waiting for mmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Anyway, it's nose-to-the-grindstone this month, I have loads on and loads of prep to do for it. But I'm going to try and do some stuff just for fun that I can share on my blog, I know it would be very boring for you if all my posts consisted of, "doing stuff, but can't show you"

So what's coming up this week...
It's the Grand Opening of The Sew Room this Saturday - so if you can get to Alford this is well worth the trip.

I'll be back tomorrow with pics of what we created at GJWTHF at the weekend
