Does anyone else....

want to take all their decorations down? or is it just me?
see once xmas day is done and dusted, I just want to get back to normal - I want all the decs down and normality to return.

Been down to Argos this afternoon for storage boxes for the girls bits and pieces - fab set of 6 boxes, 3 pink and 3 purple. And if I take down the xmas tree I can shove the boxes in that space.

In fact, I'm gonna have to go and do it now!

Hi Debbi.
Mine will be down on New Year's Day as usual. Although the last 2 years they have been down on Christmas Eve as we flew out to Florida on Christmas Day. I know what you mean though as I had to put all our pressies away yesterday but then we are adults, no children who would want them left out. I got some lovely crafting goodies and some money from Mum which I will spend on crafting so off to the online shops to see what I can buy. Looks like you had a fab Christmas Day. Love Marianne x

I am reading these comments and feeling very guilty then I hit Squirrel's comments and think yes I am not the only one, our decorations never even got out of the loft this year. My 15 year old decided on christmas eve he needed somewhere to put the gifts so got out our 3 foot optic fibre tree and that was it. It is still out at the moment but will be put away in the next day or so as new years eve is my husbands birthday so we celebrate that instead of new year.
Go for it Debbi get it all put away nothing makes you feel better than a tidy house lol.

I think you are of the majority here...everyone I talk to wants to take them down straight away. I, on the other hand, want to keep them up for a long time. My hubby thinks I'm nuts but if it was up to me I would keep them up til Feb.! LOL!
