Home Sweet Home

Hello hello, it feels like ages since I blogged but it's only been a couple of days - I think it's cos I've been so busy.
And I've learned something - if I need to go to any shop then I need to remember to leave Willow at home with dad! She came with me yesterday when I popped over to The Papeterie and she proceeded to waltz round the shop filling a basket - she's becoming quite the wee crafter but she's costing me a fortune. But she has quite good taste, and I like the kanban stamps she picked out - you'll be seeing them soon.
The girls and I got our hair cut today, I bit the bullet and got about 6 inches hacked off mine - it was getting wayyyyyyy too long and unruly. Faith has decided she doesn't like her photograph taken anymore, and for someone who practically sticks her face up to the lens whenever a camera comes out this is quite a change of tune. And I took some sneaky ones of Willow, she looks so different with her hair straightened, I think she looks so grown up...
Now I should really have blogged this project when I made it, because I hung it up on my wardrobe door and forgot all about it - duh!
Now this gorgeous project is part of the Home Sweet Home ribbon kit from Angel Crafts...

Home Sweet Home chipboard shapes, white sheer ribbon with red dots, red sheer ribbon with white dots, red and white ricrac, red gingham ribbon are all from the HSH ribbon kit - all i added was white acrylic paint and some red flock to the roof and heart shapes.
Here's a close up to show you the pleated sheer ribbon, the ricrac and the flocked shapes.
I'm hoping to get some more samples made up tonight and tomorrow, and my mum and dad are coming to visit tomorrow - no rest for the wicked eh? lol

Oooh - the Kanban stamps are super that I've seen so I'm looking forward to seeing those after they've had an encounter with your inky fingers.
Your pleated sheer ribbon is gorgeous & I love that gingham.

I can't take Holly with me for any kind of shopping...she is high maintenance!! Willow's hair is lovely. I got my hair cut the other day too...I used to have long hair and gradually it gets shorter and shorter until it eventually turns into a short back and sides!! Well maybe not quite!!

Love your wall hanging! Hair cuts seem such a bother but once it's cut it's always 'Why did I leave it so long?' Your little girls hair is gorgeous!
Enjoy your company and thank you for sharing! :)
