Day Off

Well I had a day off yesterday, from blogging to get going with my Uni assignment, so I made a good start on it - just need to try to finish it by the end of the week, just not sure where I'm going to get the time, as it's a busy one this week.
Tomorrow I'm off out to The Sew Room to meet up with Anne and Kath to discuss this years Girls Just Want To Have Fun crafty days, then Graham's home Thursday.
It's my dad's birthday today - he's 69 :)

I have loads of exciting things coming up over the next few weeks, my first class of the year at The Papeterie next month is going to be loads of fun - using the new Letraset alcohol inks to make a pretty keepsake box.
I'm also planning to add to my video tutorials - so if there are any special requests just let me know and I'll see what I can do.
Plus I'll be doing my review of "bleedproof" card for using with alcohol markers soon too.
have a good evening
Debz

How funny as I was going to ask you about your review of card to use with PMs. I would like a tut on colouring big dresses please especially when there are no folds, such as the Gorjuss girls. Sounds like you have a lot of fun stuff going on.

Hi
Good to hear you had a good day yesterday... nice to get lots done! And also good to hear you'll have more tutorials..

Just a quickie about the bleedproof card.... I get Splendorgel (not sure if that's how it's spelled) from my local printers who orders it for me - it's 280 gsm and comes out cheaper AND he'll also cut it to size for me! Worth doing if you have a local printer - and it's totally bleed-proof.

Also, and hope you don't mind, can I ask if you've mailed the flexmarker candy yet?.... still no sign at this end...:(

Hugs

Just catching up with your posts after the holidays and I'd like to wish you good luck with your uni stuff - as a former mature student myself, I know how difficult it can be to fit it all in around your other commitments but I can also say that it is well worth all the effort in the end.

Your boy card in the previous post is fabulous - you really are good at boys cards :)) Elizabeth x
