Stuff

Hiya,
just want to say thankyou for the lovely comments I've had so far on my review of the Daylight lamps, and can I just say - for all those who commented on my nice tidy craft room..... sorry but looks can be very deceiving, I purposely took photos of the bit of my desk that I had tidied, the rest of my craft space looks like an explosion in a paper factory.
I'm afraid I don't have any crafty stuff to share today, so I thought I'd share some gems from the kids. My favourite Faith quote of the day today was "mummy, when we have kids of our own, you'll be close to dead won't you?" which I thought was particularly charming.
Scott has been hard at work with all the lego and Megabloks Halo stuff he got for xmas, so here he is showing off his very first Lego Technic model...

and my little rubber-faced girl wanted her picture taken - never one to miss a photo opportunity, that one! So here she is demonstrating her grumpy face, I didn't realise that I was mirroring her expression (you can see me reflected in the microwave).

Better go get the tea started, catch ya tomorrow for more stuff
Thanks for looking
Debz

Fab photos Debbi, you've got right bonnie kids - even with a grumpy face! The little portable lamp looks so nifty, magnifier would be real handy too, now that I'm at an age where I'm needing specs! xx

Well done Scott with his Technic Lego. My son loved Lego of all kinds and especially Technic as he got older. My younger daughter loved it too and even though she was 6 years younger than Iain she was sometimes allowed to play with it. My elder daughter loved Lego too but not to the same extent as the other 2 lol!

Hi Debbi, I laughed so hard at Faith's comment, priceless! It looks as if Scott is a bit of a whizz with the lego, and if you had tried all day, you couldn't have got a better shot than the microwave one!

My goodness - it looks like you have a budding mechanic there. Dangerous things microwaves - the reflections catch you unawares but I certainly laughed - that's a very grumpy face.

It's always fun to have kids around who will willingly pose! Such cute poses.
I chuckled when I read the part about cleaning off part of your desk to take the pics. Been there, done that! If a crafter's desk is clean, they aren't creating and that's not a real paper crafter! :D

Thanks for sharing! :)
