Sunday Sketch & Stamp #10

This is bliss, having the kids away to school and playgroup every morning - it means I actually get to craft for fun and not just because I need to.

I really liked the look of the sketch on this week's Sunday Sketch and Stamp, so thought I'd give it a go. I'd already coloured the image for my blonde hair tutorial (see yesterday's post) and thought I'd use up some scraps and odds and ends that were lying around.

Image: Willow with Hot Chocolate from Whiff of Joy, coloured with promarkers: Ivory & Blush for skin, Primrose, Vanilla, Mustard and Raw Sienna for her hair, Meadow Green, Apple and Grass for her jumper and socks, Blue Pearl and China Blue for her jeans and mug.

Matted onto dark blue core'dinations card cut using scallop oval nesties in the cuttlebug. The paper is Basic Grey Marrakech which was distressed with a pair of scissors. The card background is core'dinations card that has been sanded

The pearls are Hero Arts and the black gem swirl is Prima

Here's Willow's close-up...
