ok, so here goes....
As you already know, I'm pretty new to stamping and have a bit of a thing for Sugar Nellie's and Whiff of Joy stamps.
What I want to know is what kind of card/paper does everyone stamp onto?
I use black Stazon to stamp my images and I use either promarkers, whispers or faber castell watercolour pencils to colour them in - depending on my mood.
So if you could tell me what kind of paper/card you use, and where you get it from (UK suppliers only please) that would help me immensely

Hi honey, I tend to buy mine where I see it & like it but if shopping online you can look at www.craftcreations.co.uk
they have a wide variety of card available in different colours & weight of card... some of which you can choose to have cut into A5, A4 etc...
Hope this helps

Hi hunny, i tend to use the versafine and this is fine with using the pro markers. I use them all the time. I have tried various cards. The one i have been most happiest with is a xerox colotech card for laser copiers its 300g. I find the pro markers just glide on this card. If you send me your address hun, ill send you a sample so you can try it out. I have also just brought some other card, but havn't tried it out yet, i will do that and let you know how it goes. If it works well ill send you some of that too. My email address is littlepopits@aol.com
I havn't tried it myself but im also told the momento ink is perfect for using with the pro makers. Speak soon hugs Linda x
Hello - I too use a slightly coated 250gsm cardstock that I get off eBay. The Promarkers/Copics glide on this and I can't use any other card! Also, my downloads dry straight away and I can colour straight away.
When using pens to colour, you really need Memento ink - I do find this gives a very fine line though compared to other inks. Once coloured up you don't notice so much though....Mmmm...might have to get some of that Xerox card to try - will check cost first though..xx
Hi dear and thanks for visiting my blog, as for colouring I use SU Whisper White cardstock with memento black ink for my Copic colouring I have tried lots of other card but I find this works the best for me, and I can also print downloads on to this card. You need a paper where the copics or markers actually go through to the back of the card this enables you to get better blending, I will come back a bit later with a link to a fabulous tutorial.
When Watercolourng I use stazon ink and Hotpress Watercolour paper pads that I buy from Artifolk on the net they are quite expensive but the rsults are terrific.
As for the prismas and sansodor, it should be uncoated card I have a link somewhere for some really inexpensive card you can buy on the net I will try to find that as well for you, Hope I have been some help
Hugs Jacqui x
